  7. The DDS Medical Manager is a powerful, comprehensive dentist's practice
  8. management software system. The DDS Medical Manager allows the dentist to give
  9. the financial and administrative aspects of the practice the same professional
  10. treatment given his or her patients

  12. The program's features include accounts receivable, insurance billing,
  13. appointment scheduling, clinical history, first and second notices for recalls,
  14. referral information, tooth and surface, and diagnosis and procedure history.
  15. The Accounts Receivable portion of The DDS Medical Manager is extremely strong.
  16. It tracks write offs, refunds, unapplied credits, and settlements and allows up
  17. to 40 user-defined adjustments. The DDS Medical Manager features over 120
  18. reports, most of which are available by account, doctor, or insurance company.
  19. It also interfaces with most word processors. A Custom Forms Generator provides
  20. formatting of insurance forms, encounter forms, superbills, patient statements
  21. and recall notices to fit the user's needs. The software is single or
  22. multi-user and can handle 1 to 999 dentists in a practice. It offers up to 20
  23. price levels per procedure code and handles HMO and PPO requirements
  24.

  26. virtually any report desired. An optional Electronic Claims Module allows
  27. paperless transmission of insurance claims directly to insurance centers. The
  28. optional Electronic Remittance Service module complements EMC by allowing
  29. insurance centers to electronically provide payment to the dental practice. The
  30. Data Merge Option is a powerful feature which allows The DDS Medical Manager to
  31. import and export data between the dentist's office and such outside facilities
  32. as laboratories and insurance carriers.
